I never seam sealed my other one and havent had any issues with water coming in. At the same time, I've never set mine up in a puddle but have slept in the rain many times with it. This net is brand new and still has that brand new silnylon smell to it.
There is a hang loop at the peak of the inner net. There is also a hang loop at the peak of my hexamid. I just clip them together, there's a mitten hook. No need to use the tent pole to hang from.
If using a cuben fiber mid you could get one of the stick on loops from Zpacks and then could clip the innernet anywhere, but most mids I know have a hang loop at the peak.
I have a two different stuff sacks and I'll include either one. One is for a top quilt that can easily fit the innernet and a mid without struggle. The other is a little smaller and could fit both again but would be a more brick like when stuffed. I prefer oversized stuff sacks myself. They pack better.
