And everyone plays nice together. No bear cans required. Same for The Bob and adjacent Wilderness Areas.

Jarrad Gap is mile 26.1, and Neels Gap is mile 31.1, so it is 5 miles.

The problem is that there are no established Camps or reliable water sources between Lance Creek and Jarred Gap. Maybe Stealth but only 3.7 miles before the Rule. Watching recent videos, Lance Creek has tons of trees down and not what a Hammocker likes to see lol. I may be finishing the day at Ramrock, Woody Gap, or just the normal Gooch Mtn Shelter like everyone seems to do. Anyone have any info on Ramrock?

why do you not just camp before jarrard gap and move on the next day ? just carry water with you . camp up on top of big cedar on the cliffs . the old a.t. has a watering hole right there as you get to the top of big cedar . lance creek runs through a cow pasture .
