I saw this! Wishing her the best of luck. I'm doing a lot of day hiking on the trail here in VA to get in shape for starting from Springer next month. Would love to run into her as she passes through!

If she doesn't get hurt or sick she's one that can uh hem "easily" do it. As a side challenge after thought she may even grab a FKT CY TC. Heather is a tiger. If she ever gets into MMA I'd not be inclined to get into a confrontation with her who is eating the last of the Salazon chocolate.

Is she posting to social media or yall know a way to follow? Feels like a good time to make some popcorn or at least eat some salted dark chocolate

She has a FB page. It is called "Anish Hikes." There are daily updates. I never saw the actual attempt listed but put 2+2 together to figure it out.

I see here postings on Instagram.
I kinda figured it out when she said that she had begun a calendar year triple crown attempt.
    I don't have a Facebook account.

I just checked out Heather's Facebook page. She has some truly beautiful pictures. I'm jealous. Wish I could handle a camera the way she does. Of course, it would be nice if I could also do the triple crown in one year but hey. Who am I kidding?

Yeah, what like in a day and a half? LOL She probably measures completing the GA AT in hrs rather than days.LOL

Look at her face. She has that deep hearted contentment knowing she's right where she wants to be doing what she wants in season. The trail is her home. It's where she feels fulfilled.

Heather's TedX talk makes this person teary eyed. I luv her courage. Great example of what hiking can do for a person.

Assuming she's back dating her photos's, she could be in Tennessee by now. Just in time for Fools Weekend!

She is good about concealing her location. Bly Gap and a tablespoon of snow are the latest clues.

What do you think her time could be. 60-70 days per hike?

    SOBO or NOBO on Pct/cdt.

Which trail would be next. Cdt or pct.

With all the late season snow we're getting in NH and Maine, she best not get here too soon.
