    Default Dahlgren Backpack Campground

I'll be there in a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me if it is hammock friendly? It's hard to tell from the pictures I've seen by Googling if there are suitable trees.

You should be able to find something along the perimeter of the camping area.

there is a line of trees separating the trail from the tent sites that offers two or three hanging options. Alternatively across the trail (east) is wooded with hangs a plenty.

There are definitely hanging spots around the edges of the tent sites at Dahlgren. Here's a link to a pic of someone with a Hennessey hung there.
