    Default Loner Bohner

For those who have hiked with 75-year-old Loner Boner, he is doing well. Our group met him 7/16 on the road walk re-route near Falls Village, CT. We gave him refreshments and he stopped for a few minutes to chat. I looked him up on Trail Journals last night and realized that many of you have hiked with him this year and in other years. Go guy, go.

I searched for Loner Boner on TrailJournals this morning but could not find him listed. What name is he under on TJ?

    Do you mean Loner Bohner?

I don't know him personally, but he's well known.

    Is this him? http://www.trailjournals.com/photos....=890883&back=1

Yes, that's him. Thank you for the correct spelling of his last name. I was going by references to him in other's trail journals. Bohner is a little less ... you know.

He's currently on his 4th thru hike. He was in Trimpi Shelter the first week in April.

I met him all the way back during his 2007 thru, when I was hiking a section in PA. We met at 501 shelter and had a good talk. Great guy. I'm glad to hear he's still at it and going strong.
