    Default Camp Sites Standing Indian Mountain

    Anyone know of any campsites at or near the summit of Standing Indian Mountain.

    People sometimes camp right at the summit. Saw 2 people there last weekend. Just off the summit there's a good bit of cleared area too.

    Water at the summit just opposite the side trails to the cleared area at the summit.

    Plenty of campsites just below the summit. I’ve never seen any water there, I’ll ha e to look where generoll said.

    I was there last weekend. Watch out for the bears. They tore my campsite apart. Nothing aggressive to me but the dry sacks I hung around were shredded. Not sure why as I slept with my food.

    look for the blue blaze opposite the trails up to the summit. the trail descends steeply for about 50 yards to a piped spring.
