    Default most comfortable sports bra

Hi all, I’m looking for recs for a really comfy sports bra for my 2019 thru hike attempt. I went out for the weekend and my cheap old navy sports bra which has thin like spaghetti straps dig into my collar bone under my pack straps and left me with some nasty bruises. I just bought a new ULA circuit and the straps aren’t uncomfortable but i think having them sit where they do (they’re the S straps) make the sports bra dig into me. i don’t mind spending extra if it means comfort. Any help is appreciated !

I'm wondering about this too!!! Mine cuts into me even with just rolled seams. 😔

I have a Brooks Rebound Racer and I found it very comfortable with adjustable straps.

I had trouble finding a good bra for a long time but I finally found one. It ain't cheap though.

I got the high cut Toura. It's comfortable plus it dries really quickly, which was my main concern.
I have worn it on several trips and so far I haven't noticed any smelliness after several days on the trail.

I really like the Icebreaker Siren bra.

So much so that I made a video about it last week!!

Thank you, Sara, that’s awesome. Does that bra eliminate ‘headlights’?

I have just used the cheap Danskin tank-top type sports bras from Walmart. They have served me well. I am fairly small-chested though so that may make a difference

I have the Brooks Juno. I love the easily adjustable straps (that are wide and don't dig into you), and the fact that it seems to resist getting wet from sweat (despite running almost daily). The velcro on the straps don't budge after adjusting, so you don't have to worry about it slipping or loosening. While hiking my previous bras seemed to be the first article of clothing to get stinky, but I find that this one takes much longer to get smelly and resists sweat staining.

    Headlights? LOL!
Can be seen a bit with one layer of clothing, I usually wear two, so not a problem for me.

Hate to step in here, but Mrs. Cranky gets hers at Title Nine, and likes the wide variety of styles and sizes. They were also very helpful on the phone.

My preference is to go braless when no one’s around so that doesn’t happen very often. The rest of the time, even in summer, I wear three layers. I’ve avoided those thin-fabric bras because they aren’t no-show and would love to find one with good coverage. I might try one without my cami and see if it gives me the same comfort as going braless.

    Thanks again for the review.
