Marlette Peak Campground on the TRT

I was thinking of staying at the Marlette Peak CG on my first night on the TRT. However I've read there are only 4 spots at that campground and I would be getting in late on a Saturday night. Is there really only 4 spots? If so I assume the campground would be full since it on a heavily used trail. No camping is allowed in that area outside of the campground. Should I make different plans? Guess if full I could go a couple more miles down the trail till I am out of the no camping zone.

I would risk it and it appears you have a secondary plan.
