    Default Whitepages 2018

Been looking around at AT guide book. I came across this one:

    https://www.whiteblazepages.com/store/

But I thought about it, then something has me wondering if this is a real book or not. The web page only shows digital make up of the book. No actual pictures of a book, No reviews anywhere.

Has anybody out there seen this book? Bought the book?

All the details, just seems too good to be true.

I wanted to get it an compare it to AWOL's but not sure I want to risk getting vapor ware.

Another thing it says it wrote the book in colaberation with Whitepages site?

I bought & used WB Pages 2017 on my thru hike.... I assumed, correctly, that everyone else would have AWOL, so having WBP would give us another guide. As expected, it worked very well. Hard to see any differences between the two. I can't say what changes WBP might have made for 2018, but I do believe they enlarged the pages, making it easier to see everything.

It is a real book, and it got good info, and i use it as a complimentary to my guide. Problem is it is hard to detach pages, so if you are a section hiker like myself, it is not very practical to carry. hope they will fix this in the next editions.

I use this book, the Thru-Hiker's Companion and Guthook's app and compile my own spreadsheet for the section we are going to hike. I think that gives me a good deal of information. If mileage differs between one source or the other I go with Guthook's because it is updated and I use the app on the trail.

I also refer to posts here regarding specific sections and add any pertinent info to the spreadsheet.

get one, it's great! I have 2017 and 2018. I like them both. Came right away when ordered. The new one has a bit more information and is a little easier to read. I liked the perforated pages and form factor on the 2017 version a little better. Hopefully that returns in later versions.

I preferred last years to this years. Will buy next years.

It comes almost immediately. Great information.

Last year had perforated pages and they where smaller. Next year will repeat.

But it is displacing everything but Guthooks for me.

    Really useful.

I took everyones note that it was an actual book. So I ordered it. And sure enough it came. I just had that small concern since I couldn't find any pictures of the book and very limited info. I actually love all the details, made my head spine till I got use to it. I hope one day this would also be available in a PDF for the phone.

To the authors, any thoughts on releasing a good file to go along with all the GPS cords in the book?
