Default A sequel to a popular photo. :-)

I've been slacking in posting Colorado trip reports this past month. Mainly because I've been doing things that don't lend itself to photos as much (full moon skis, runs, local hikes). I've been busy outdoors..just not reporting it or doucmenting it with photos. The full moon skis in January and February were esp. memorable. My god! Schusing along the powder by the light of the full moon. Stars above. A thermos of a hot drink at the shore of a lake. Life ain't bad!

This past summer I posted a photo that received many hits. I titled it "Much scenic beauty in Colorado". Mowgli seemed to like it as well.

Well, this weekend I volunteered at a snowshoe race and did sweep. I did a fast paced hike for 10k, picked up the course markings and generally policed the course. Beautiful sunny day. Received a t-shirt and a comp race entry for a future race. Cool!

Two of my friends were in the race and posed for a photo that is the "sequel" to a summer one.

What can I say? My friends are easy on the eyes and make up for my ugly mug.

Much better than the "sequel" Mountain Gazette T-Shirt ad photo. www.mountaingazette.com If you're not in Colorado where it is a freebie at the bar/ gear shop/ laundromat/ etc., it is about the best $25 yearly subscription you can buy. Especially if you are a mountain loving person stuck here in the mid-west like me!
    What? Me worry??
