Depending on how you get there, there is a cheap motel within walking distance of the Grayhound bus station and five motels clustered together which are within walking distance of the train station. Prices range from $65 to $109. I'd go with the cheap one. Might as well get used to cheap motels. Check Google maps for locations.

Ive stayed at holiday inn and hampton inn both a couple times there. Exactly what youd expect. My son used to play lacrosse tourney there in summer.
