    Default Uber in Breckenridge

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use Uber in Breck to get to the Segment 7 trailhead from The Bivvi early in the morning?

I saw the free bus, but am thinking about trying to get on the trail around 5:30 am which is before the bus starts.

Good point. I am staying there two nights before my hike and one night after my hike, so I will get two chances at that breakfast.

I wouldnt count on finding an uber ride at 530 am.
You can set something up with taxi or shuttle service maybe, expect to pay ....a lot. Maybe $50 or more. 20-30 just to go a couple miles seems common from what i heard in past.

Thanks for the replies. Sure enough, no Ubers early. We wanted to hit the trail earlier than the buses would get us there due to storms forecasted around noon. We caught a hitch near our hostel (Bivvi) to the trailhead.

Theres some uber drivers in the CT foundations list of shuttlers in breck that will allow prearranged ride scheduling.

Doubt if id personally get up at 5am to make $15, so id expect they might not either. Just a heads up for anyone needing ride in breck. Ask CTF for list. Not supposed to share info publically.

I agree with everyone above. There is Uber but not many drivers and I wouldn't count on getting one early. Don't miss out on your breakfast though!

Trust me. It was a tough decision as to if we should get an early start or enjoy another Bivvi breakfast, but the forecast of storms around noon and knowing if we got a later start would have put us above tree line until around 2:30 was the deciding factor to miss breakfast and get on the trail early.

Plus, we knew we were coming back to The Bivvi after we spent a few days on the trail.

I am already planning to return to The Bivvi next year with my wife for a relaxing and romantic trip in the room with a hot tub!
