Place to park in Greenwood Lake

I am planning a state thru hike in 2024 of NY. Looking to start in Greenwood Lake and traveling north to Hoyt Road. Where is the safest place to park in Greenwood Lake? Any names of good shuttles from Hoyt Road?

On that section last year, I stayed at the "Lake Lodging Motel" in Greenwood for 2 nights. Fantastic folks and they were happy to pick me up from the trail, slackpacked me then returned me to the trail on my departure. Plenty of parking and an easy walk to every amenity in town.
