Estimated Start Date: May 1st!!
Approach Trail - nope....Im punching in on the northern side of the smokeys where Hwy 40 intersects the trail.
I did the Approach Trail in 2016. Exited due to injury at Unicoi Gap. Last year I picked up an Unicoi and pulled out at Davenport.
The weather was nuts. I hadnt planned on snow, sleet and 19 degrees in April. So this year I pushed it back a few weeks.
Im trying to do 3-4 weeks a year. I cant take off work 6 months so Im going one jaunt at a time.
