Do you have any links for the news articles? They did have good weather absolutely. We were planning a camp for this Friday coming up but I’m putting it off till Saturday. I’ll take potentially zero degrees vs 32 and rain.

Glad you guys had a good trip. I love the Whites, lots of great areas that are readily accessible without spending days slogging to get to them.
