    Yep, we remember well.
That was a nice place to spend a cold night.
The walk out the next day took us past lots of good looking ice formations

I'd like to point out that, in this one case, I've learned a lesson: WE NEED TO MAKE BRUNCH RESERVATIONS FOR SUNDAY THE 20TH IF WE EXPECT TO GET IN. THE RESERVATION SHOULD BE FOR 11AM. WE NEED A COUNT PRETTY MUCH NOW!!!

    1AZARUS - I'M IN. THAT'S 1.

Another year I'll have to pass...

Though I was very touched by Hiker Boy sending a personalized invite to me (and his 300 other friends)... but still I did personally get it and that was mighty thoughtful to think of me when he hit send all.

If the temps are reasonable I'm in, along with Gumball. That's 2 more.

I know, a bit early to be celebrating, but the long range weather forecast looks way way better than any have looked in the past!!!

What, no Ice Storms forecast? Such a disappointment

Yup, I'm in for the brunch.

...Bear Mountain Inn reservation made in name of lazarus for 8 people for brunch on the 20th. Still not a bad idea to let me know if you should be included (or not!)... so far, 1azarus, imscotty, cheyou, teacher and gumball, couch lou and two undeclared additional (pretty sure moulder is showing up as one of the two).

Has anyone heard from Kevin? Who will protect us from rogue, pack-thieving raccoons?

I have chatted with him about it. He is wanting to go, but has a commitment, if he gets out of it he will come.

We have discussed the impending storm for Saturday. The forecast is 'Heavy snow', we aren't worried about the camping and hiking part.....but the roads in harriman Park will be the last plowed. So we will keep and eye on the storm and we will make THE prudent decision with enough time for folks to adjust.
