    Default AT9er dies

Dean Ahearn, Class of AT9, died in the early morning hours of Valentine's Day. I'm his identical twin bro.

What's the best way to get the word out to other AT9ers who might want to come to a memorial March 4?

    Thumbs up Thanks.

    I'm on it.

Just wondering how hi-profile my post would be but looks from the homepage hi-profile enough.

    Peace - Donn

Donn, I'm shocked. My condolences to you and the rest of your family.

Sorry for your loss Donn. I hope you get in contact with some folks. You might also try posting a thread in the Hiker Locator section of the forums.

Best wishes to his family. What does Class of AT9 mean?

Donn, I can't imagine losing a sibling, much less a twin. It's great that your brother got to do someting in life that millions dream of and thousands have only walked the walk. My thoughts are with you and the family.

All thru hikers are a family, you feel it at ALDA and can see it at Trail Days. When a thru hiker passes on we have all lost one of our hiker family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
