Default Diy shoulder pocket recommendations/advise pls

My daughter sewed me two strap pockets made from a thin
but strong water resistant tyvek like material
She put velco for the top closure and we are both very pleased with the end result, esp the
    weight (0.24 oz)
Need advice for best way to attach this to the shoulder straps of a ULA OHM
    thanks

I sometimes make pouches which mount to 1" webbing straps by means of a 1.5" Velcro strip. I overlap about an inch of them lengthwise with a single layer on each outside edge to sew down, creating a slot for the webbing. They peel apart and open almost like opening a book cover. Place the webbing inside, and close the flaps of Velcro.

Less wt and possibly less fuss if you use SLIK Clips, Siamese SLIK clips(IMO the best option), adjustable SLIK Clip, sternum split bar, split ladder lock or split tri-glides (middle bar is split), slip locks,

Never underestimate the power of duct tape. While it’s not permanent, it’ll last for the weekend.
