    Default 2003 Thru-Hiker's Companion

Does anyone know when the 2003 edition of the thru-hiker's companion is coming out? I emailed the guy who was on the webpage for last year, but only got back a response that it would be out "soon." So, how soon is soon? Anybody know??

    Default Companion availability

That's a switch. Usually it's Wingfoot that's late. The deadline for getting updates in for the Companion is October. So, there must have been some problems along the way. I'm sure they are trying to get it out ASAP.

John O, the editor of the ALDHA Companion, posted to the at-l back on Feb 4th that the book would be available and in stores 3rd week of February.

    Default Companion

You can also consider WF handbook which combines the companion and data book info. I have both and prefer the handbook since it is more user friendly. You can buy the book direcly from his web site.

    Default download the Companion

The Companion is available for download at the
ALDHA web page. Only the 2002 edition is
there now, but you can start using it and download
the update when it's available. You can print just those pages you need.

The 2003 edition will be up by the end of next week.
For fun, if you don't already have the '02 Companion,
print out the pages of your next section and compare it to
the new edition. And please send in any comments!
