    I am doing southern PA in mid May and couldnt be happier. I did it last time in october so i am looking forward to seeing it in spring. Very fortgiving terrain, towns along the way

    AT Map 1: Complete 2013-2021
    Sheltowee Trace: Complete 2020-2023
    Pinhoti Trail: Complete 2023-2024
    Foothills Trail: 0.0

    Route 501 to Route 645 or in reverse is about 2 miles with little elevation change and multiple lookouts.

    I would check out you tube to see if anyone has posted these sections, then you could see how easy or hard they are.
