Default Ditching the Sleeping Bag for a light Quilt

Hoping to hike the Florida Trail from Etoniah Forest Iron Bridge Shelter to Alexander Springs, The weekend after Easter April 25. Was hoping the weather would be warm enough in the evening to just use a Quilt and sleep in some warm clothes. Average Temps in Ocala says Highs in the lower 80's, Lows in the lower 60's My tent will be a 3 season Tent and will carry some Thermals just in case of a freak Cold Front.

I used my Costco down throw over Thanksgiving and slept without it most of the night. April should be even warmer

Yeah we did that section during Spring Break in early March one year and it was very pleasant weather. I had a 30F bag with me and just draped it over my body as a quilt most nights. End of April I'd take my 45F quilt no problem.

You can check for freak cold snaps a couple of days before you leave.
