What are the dates for Trail Days 2019 in Damascus , Va . ?

Can anyone recommend a reasonable motel in easy driving distance (10 to 15 miles) but not to interfere with hikers wanting to use a motel that weekend ?

the google machine brings up the weekend of may 17th....

as for hotel------ive stayed at the knights inn out by 81 during a non trail days weekend............just because it was cheap...

Just as general info, what I heard at ATKO was that Trail Days is always the weekend after Mother's Day.
