Is it safe to park a vehicle S Va. Fairwood Rd/ Rt 603 this is close to Troutdale parking lot for over a week?

I was looking at exactly this same trailhead two hours ago.
Looks nice from "street view" if I have the right spot.

this is just north of old orchard shelter, right? if so, I've parked there twice for multiple days with no issues, once about 8 years ago and again about 2 years ago

I have parked there for 3 days with no issues. It seems like a good place to park for a week.

Yes this is a good spot to park for an extended trip. Big parking lot, shelters close to road on both sides if you are getting in a late arrival.
