    Says that the Contender “holds about 3 days of food.”
    That’s just about useless.

    3-4 days plus the current days food outside it is typically 70-100 miles...sure it’s not huge but neither is the 38l pack I usually carry...obviously certain trips you’d need a larger can...I rented a Bearikade weekender for JMT and had plenty extra room for the 110 miles from Mtr to the portal without any food outside...if I had to carry it on TRT the bear boxer would have been big enough...

    Or. We choose not to do those daily miles.
