Default ATC Boiling Springs (PA) visitor center temporarily closed on weekdays

The Visitor Center at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy Mid-Atlantic Regional Office in Boiling Springs, PA, is temporarily closed Monday – Friday due to staffing changes. The Visitor Center is open most weekends and holidays from May to October, 10am – 4 pm. The Visitor Center will reopen with a new schedule at a date to be determined. The office welcomes anyone to knock who needs to pick up a thru-hiker hang-tag or a parking permit, or to call the office for assistance.

The ATC Mid-Atlantic Office oversees management of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and its corridor lands (in partnership with the National Park Service, dozens of other land managing agencies, and hundreds of volunteers in a dozen trail-maintaining clubs) from the southern end of Shenandoah National Park at Rockfish Gap in Virginia to the New York-Connecticut border.

More information about ATC offices and visitor centers can be found at www.appalachiantrail.org/locations.

As of this week, the ATC Visitor Center in Boiling Springs has a new staff member to keep the Visitor Center open during the week. I stopped in to meet her today, and it seems the plan is to staff with volunteers on the weekends. Here are the new hours, as from the link posted by LaurieP:
    Visitor Center Hours:
    Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Most holidays and weekends from May to October 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
