    Default Jacks River Trail

Has anyone been up the Jacks River or Beech Bottom trails since the big flood in July of last year? I remember the FS closed the entire area after the flood for some time. I was there the week before the flood and am planning to return next week. Just wondering if there are any remaining log jams/debris/major trail reroutes to be aware of. I am also searching for the approximate mileage up the Jacks River trail from the road to the 12th or 13th crossing.

I just got back from a 24 day backpacking trip to Jacks and started at Thunder Rock on the Ocoee River and looped down to Beech Bottom trailhead and took it to Jacks etc etc. They did tremendous trailwork to open up Beech Bottom to the river but I didn't go down-river past the Falls so I can't say how bad it is to Alaculsy trailhead.

But I can say the Hickory Creek and Hickory Ridge and Conasauga River trails are in TERRIBLE shape.

Once I get my pics loaded up I'll post a full trip report here.
