Filtering water for a large group

Caution. My brother teaches microbiology at a university. He always filters and boils. That, and in my case, I really don't want to have unfiltered water in any of my bottles.

I was not meaning to refer to water you might be hauling, just what you boil from a nearby source in the process of cooking.

Why not just use Aquamira. The one ounce package is enough for 30 gallons. Since you will have a base camp, treat 5 gallons at a time in a large water container, and use that to fill individual bottles.
