What is recommended food storage overnight when staying at or near this shelter? (X-posted in several Lehigh Vally shelter topics in hopes of getting a response before hitting for the weekend tomorrow.)

I know you posted in feb. But future advice is simple. I personally only hang strong smelling items like meats I pack in for the first night or two. Otherwise Ive always slept with my food bag in tent. Bears are active in the area. Your choice.

Stopped at Bake Oven Knob shelter for lunch on 11/16. We packed out some small trash items, but there were two presumably leaky tarps left behind. It seemed like someone attempted to repair the one with a trash bag and some tape. I guess it didn't work...

Parking at Ashfield Rd? Is it allowed? Any problems if yes? How about shuttles meeting at this location? Do you know of any shuttles who can drive us back to Eckville, PA?
