    Default Happy Birthday Benton !!

I am posting this a day early only becuase I am heading out to spend a few days hiking on the BMT and won't be able to post on the 6th.
"Springer Fever" hits me every year at this time and although an AT thru is out of the question for this year a BMT thru is not....a few days hiking the BMT on Benton's birthday will satisfy my craving. Plus before long all of the winter views will be gone as the foliage returns. Each season holds its own benefits.
So, Happy 127th Birthday Benton....and Thank You.

Glad the BMT was established. My love for the AT is never ending but I do like to head out on new adventures. Last year I managed to get all of the "original" BMT hiked. This year I will hike 100 miles of the new trail just before Trail Days. Then finish it off on 2007.

Hikerhead & Deb W, I can't wait to be back up in the mountains with you.

ME TOO. I hope I see a bear or a boar or something. I didn't see Jack Squat last year. Happy BD BM.
