Question What town is before and what town is after Kennebec River?

Trying to determine where that crossing is on a map. I'm looking at google maps and the Appalachian trail map but can't figure out where that crossing with the canoe is?

I have monson and millnocket, then it goes to the mountain.

Is Kennebec Ferry crossing ( river some folks forge or use canoe ) in between those two?

Trying to figure out which town is before and which town is after.

Sorry for the dumb question. I have am looking but have a difficult time finding it.

Heading north, you cross the Kennebec just before the town of Caratunk.

FYI, as they say in Maine, "you cant get there from here". Caratunk is decidedly remote. Its a long shuttle ride to and from anywhere especially an airport of bus station. The closest bus station is in Waterville about 1 hour south. nearest airport is 92 miles to Bangor. In order to go east or west you have drive south 20 miles and then north again unless you take logging roads.

The Sterling Inn in Caratunk does shuttles. Not sure if you are looking for one, but here are their rates:
