I used it on my AT thru hike and for a lot of walking in Tassie. While on the AT I only slept in shelters 3 times. Just a bit of background.
It is tent that is built for harsh conditions and handles them very well. Very well made. Hilleberg has an excellent reputation. A big vestibule that fitted all my wet gear.
My only quibbles were weight and airflow. I didnt use it on my subsequent hikes on the PCT and the CDT because I wanted a tent that I could open up for better airflow ie Tarptent Notch.
