    Default Spring 2020 hike

I am going to hike the AT again this spring. I hiked a Sobo from 321 Braemer to approximately a 100 mile hike, the balds were magnificent. I made a major mistake and did not vet one our group and it became quite difficult but we made the most of it. I am looking for a recommendation of a section of the trail, that is modest in difficulty that will allow us to crank out some mileage. I was wondering about the Graysonhighlands or possibly the Shenandoahs. The length of our section hike will be 8 days on the trail

My friend and I are planning a section hike in June going NOBO from Damascus to at least Grayson Highlands. I have no hiking experience as of right now and she has minimal but neither of us have backpacking experience. Her son has hiked this section before and said it'll be easy enough for us.
