    Default Pinchot Trail

Has anyone been out on the Pinchot Trail recently? Considering going out next weekend for an overnight. Reading a few trail reports indicate it is a little overgrown in places and ticks could be an issue.

In PA (Poconos)? Did it two years ago and it was moderately overgrown in some spots but mostly pretty wide open. Ticks are everywhere. Was just backpacking in Harriman State Park in NY and we encountered ticks. Spray your stuff. Pinchot is a fun, easy trail. Enjoy.

Thanks to the volunteers from the Keystone Trails Association, the trail is mostly clear and brushed out. The west side of the north loop still has a brushy section.
