Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Where do you go for these two big sale days for gear?
Back when Beans was lifetime guarantee I would usually visit Beans and grab some preplanned items on my list. The joke with most Black Friday sales are they are at major retailers that have a high markup on gear that frequently is made in the same factory in Vietnam with a different logo. Cottage manufacturers that are popular with backpackers tend to have higher costs that they offset with getting rid of the middleman. They have less flexibility on making major markdowns.
I go out for a backcountry hike.

They are either running a sale now or very soon. The most interesting thing that I saw in the email were Garmin InReach and GPS units on sale.
