I love my eTrex 20 and have replaced it a couple of times - Cabelas looks like they have a good sale right now: https://www.cabelas.com/product/Garm...-x/2009518.uts
Plaid is fast! Ticks suck, literally... It’s ok, bologna hoses off…

I have an eTrex 10x I believe. What's the difference between the 10x and 20x besides the colored screen and the black and white?

I just use mine mainly for geocaching. But I am considering to use it for hikes as well.

For what it's worth - Dick's Sporting Goods has had a bunch of 20-25% off promotions in the last couple of weeks and they match other competitors prices (specifically including Cabelas). I was able to grab an Inreach Explorer+ for $267 a couple of weeks ago by using a price match on Cyber Monday when they ran a 25% off all purchases promotion.
