Mini Flip Flop

I am thinking about a mini SOBO flip flop. Basically I would skip Mt Katahdin then come back and do it a month or two later. Where and when would you start. Before or after the 100 mile wilderness. Somewhere further? I am an experienced hiker. Love your thoughts.

Depends on time of year but my suggestion would be the mass VT line. Things dry up in Mass long before VT NH and Me in the spring. The best time of year to do Me, NH and Vt is later in the season (but before October).
