Default Water between Trimpi shelter and Partnership

If I were to camp say five miles, give or take, north from Trimpi would there be a good water source? Thanks!

Maybe. There is a campsite noted 4.3 miles north of Trimpi with a water icon. I believe that is the only option in the area.

When you leave Partnership heading south on the AT in about 6-7 miles you pass over this spring water source---

And right past this source is this campsite next to a cattle fence---

And then not much further south (and north of Trimpi) is South Holston Creek and footbridge---So there's plenty of water.

Here's the AT turnoff to Trimpi---

And if you go a little south of Trimpi there's this trailsign and by turning left off the AT you soon reach this CS---

And right next to this "raccoon branch" CS is this spring---

FOOTNOTE: If you keep going down this side trail you reach an old abandoned AT shelter called Raccoon Branch Shelter---which has a creek---
