    I like a crusher style hat because brims really restrict forward view when one is plodding along looking down for foot placement.So when the going gets tough I fold mine back some for better visibility.My favorite is a Columbia floppy hat-looks awful but works great!

    Tilley with the mesh screen at the top of the brim. Great sun protection. I wear it every day when out walking or at work.

    When on the trail, I really like the OR Sunrunner.
