Default Second Hiker Found Dead on Katahdin?

Is this a second death on Katahdin? That's what is being reported and there is no name associated with the death as there was in the earlier report. See the link below to the article.

You're right of course. I was just having trouble processing a second death in two days. Maybe there was a mistake. However, I just found this news article (here) and there is no doubt about a second death. Tragic.

Yes, second death. 4 nobo thruhikers turned around on the Tableland due to weather the same day.

If his body was found at 10AM as reported, perhaps he went up the day before?

Don't know when the person went up, or which trail they used.

Sounds like the folks who found the body needed 90 minutes to get a cell signal.

We woke up to white mountains this morning. Conditions up there yesterday were likely horrific. Hypothermia is a likely C.O.D.

Hiker identified but no released info on cause of death other than
Park Director Eben Sypitkowski said Tuesday there is no evidence of foul play in Bell’s death.
