Default Creating Folder in shelter photos

    hi
I am slowly scanning old AT 35mm slides. I have pictures of LT's from the 1970s and many no longer exist. I guess I could name each and put into the respective state folder. But to encourages others to dig out old pictures a new folder called "lost Lean-tos of the AT" would be nice. Can a folder be created?

I am not sure if you were referring to adding that to the Forums of the Gallery?
I added a sub-category to the Vermont Shelter listing in the AT forums titled "Lost Lean-tos of the AT".

troll I think they meant Leanto's when mentioning "LT" instead of long trail. Perhaps place it outside of a states category?

    Yup.

I particularly liked the one with candles.

What I would really like to see are some shots showing “baseball bat” floors, though. I did not see many, but one almost made me reconsider my decision to do without a pad during the warmer months.

yes, I am using LT for Leantos or lean-tos, not the Long Trail. Sorry for confusion. perhaps I am old school, but early mileage fact sheets (published by ATC, no date but back in early 70's) used LT for shelters unless it was a cabin or hut.

I have been adding my slides slowly.... rob (Happy Hiker 1974 - 1975, both ends to the middle) flip flopper was a term that came later.
