I left one of my Leki trekking poles in GSMNP and need to replace, time for a new set anyway. The Leki’s have been great but noticed zpacks has an option for $60. Anybody have these and can comment on their performance.

Haven't used them, but just noting that $60 is one pole. $100 for 2
I haven't used the zpacks trekking poles, but 7oz per pole is not really that lightweight these days. Gossamer Gear LT5s (3-section, twist lock... ugh!) are a tick over 5oz per pole, and they no longer sell their 2-section poles that were right around 4oz.
However, you're okay with the 7oz weight, you can get a pair of Cascade Mtn Tech poles that weigh about 8oz per pole for less than $50 per pair. If you google around a bit you might find them for less $$, although $45/pair seems to be the going price right now. I got a set of these and used them on trail for about 100 miles or so to test them and now keep them as loaners for friends, and there really is nothing to complain about except the weight... I normally use my MYOG poles that weigh 4oz each so the difference is noticeable to me.

Gossamer Gear LT5 is much more convenient. Of course, they are more expensive, but you do not buy them for one trip. Leki are also very good. I understand your desire to save money, but I don’t think that saving on yourself is a good idea.
