    Question Summer Water Sources

My brother and I are hiking the BMT in July. Concerned about how water sources might be especially since it's been so dry down there (at least in NC piedmont where my brother and family are), wondering if anyone has any recent info on how the sources have been?

    Thanks!

At least up in GSMNP, seems like it's been a relatively wet year.
When there's water issues up there, it's usually not until September or October, the "dry" season... at least for the Smokies.

Do you have Guthooks for the trail? That will be your best source of info although the trail isn't highly trafficked like other trails.

Yeah, thanks for the rec! I got the Guthooks map a couple weeks ago and been reading the source comments, there are a few recent May updates, but otherwise all the comments are older. It's been helpful though, definitely keeping any eye for any new ones.
