    Default Turkeys in Ga!

Are the turkeys gobbling in GA yet? Also, what's the leaf-on progression in GA? Just checking the signs of spring before I get started next week! Thanks in advance!

Yeah, the Turkeys are gobbling down here. The trees are just starting to show some leaves in the higher elevations, (I'm at 3100 ft). Down at the lower elevations the trees are alot fuller. Also starting to see a few Wildflowers in bloom.

Dogwoods are in bloom and a few other trees are starting to put out (red maple is beautiful right now)...TONS of wildflowers near the trail. I've also seen lots of turkey lately (I am currently about 10 miles from the trail).

Yep. The weather is making me crazy when I'm stuck inside working rather than hiking. I even enjoyed that unbelievable lightning storm friday night... from the safety of my house.
