Another option for future consideration - insect headnets at Walmart cost barely over a dollar. I scavenged one to cover a 1 cm tear in my tent's noseeum. I cut it out of the crown of the headnet, which didn't impair the functionality because I always wear a hat or bandana.

The headnets even come specifically in "noseeum" netting vs whatever the standard netting is. It was $4 for the headnet.
