    Default Water at Thomas Knob

Hi, anyone been at Thomas Knob recently to know if the water is running strong? Even though storm Fred just went through the area I thought I'd ask. Thanks

Per a Guthooks comment on 8/22 for Thomas Knob: Keep your hiking shoes on for water. 0.1 down a rocky trail. Great flow from pipe. 2 Bars 5G Verizon, at bear box, none at shelter. Better tent and hammocking with easier water ~1 mi South.
    It is what it is.

The water source at Thomas Knob is a good one. Yes, it's about 0.1 miles from the shelter (which really isn't far), but the water is reliable and good and the shelter is situated in a great location.
