Default Need a little education on the CDT from Pinedale, WY. Sobo

Due to the fires in No Cal, I have chucked my plans to fly from my Wind River loop, flying to Reno for the TRT, but have instead decided to stay in Pinedale, resupply & head south on the CDT into CO. So my question: Where can I get the best detailed trail mileage (guide) for resupplying into Colorado? Guthooks?
Also, do I need a permit? If so what type?

    Thanks Everyone

Visit the backpacking store in Pinedale. They have current trail conditions in the Wind River Range after the Blowdown last fall. I expect they have information on The Great Divide Basin and water sources also.
    Good luck and have fun!

Don't miss the Wind River Brewing Co for burgers and beer!

Guthook is probably be the best. The Great Basin is devoid of much of anything, especially water. After Pinedale next resupply is Atlantic City then nothing until Rawlins where you cross I-80 and then nothing again until you're into Colorado

Current Trail Conditions from the Great Outdoor Shop in Pinedale:

Also contact the Forest Service offices that oversee the Winds south of Pinedale.
    Good luck.
