    Default Tenting Around Partnership Shelter

No tenting at Partnership; are there established campsites beyond the shelter, either NB or SB?

South of partnership I tented at the top of a hill. Terrible storm that night. I would strongly advise against staying at partnership....

There's no camping within 1/4 mile of Partnership Shelter https://appalachiantrail.org/explore...g-regulations/

That means the ponds and the dam are off limits.

That'll put you across the road northbound.

I think there used to be signs right there on trail to tell you where the 1/4 mile is. If you got service, you can draw a 1200 ft line in Google Maps, the shelter is on the map.

This is just a friendly reminder for the people that keep posting about breaking the rules at the shelter.
