best sandals for winter snow

Evans backpacking videos I would recommend. Sealskinz waterproof socks,and wools socks.

I don't know if sandals make sense for winter. Waterproof socks, shoe liners, or bags have advantages over waterproof shoes. You can decide whether to make your shoes waterproof. If your shoes get icy, and you have a plastic bag liner, its easy to get your feet out. If your insulation is in your socks, its easy to replace when wet.

Seems like the best option is for you to experiment and report back! I don't think you'll find many people here with much experience with sandals in the snow.

My gut reaction is it won't work. I've used sealskinz before, and I don't think they'd be a substitute for boots in winter. And if you're a dealing with deep snow, i.e. winter in New England mountains - you couldn't strap snowshoes on to sandals.

20 degrees in the winter?
I don’t think it was ever that warm. I remember quite a few -20 to -30 in Chicopee Falls, MA. Ok, that was before the Fake Global Warming thing popped up.
Bottom line: Real winter and real sandals aren’t compatible.
