Fire Destroys Ocoee Whitewater Center

Update, 9:37am – Authorities received a call from a passerby around midnight that there was a fire at the Ocoee Whitewater Center along highway US-64 according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency crews responded from surrounding areas in Tennessee and North Carolina.
The building is considered a complete loss and the cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries reported....
