Heading to Grayson Highlands this weekend. It's supposed to be rainy and in the 50-60s. I've got a hammock but I'm really hoping to stay in the shelter. Anyone know where the nobo pack/bubble is?

traildays, around sunday a 1000 will get back on and the area will be much busier
yep, anyone who is anywhere near Grayson is either in Damascus right now or will be here in the next day or 2.
But getting back on they will be going up and down the trail. There will be quite a few who will roll right out of here on Sunday heading N though. Hopefully they will "sort themselves out" and disperse a bit.

Just finished a Catawba to James River Footbridge section, from 5/9 to 5/15. Word from several hostel/shuttle folks is that the bubble isn't that far north yet, but things are now picking up very fast. There were a lot of people on the trail. Stanimals Hostel in Glasgow had a big group last night.
